Notes: Murphy is a 5 year old Pointer mix (likely Beagle), and a handsome one at that! He is a medium sized dog and is only 33 pounds. He is a very well-rounded dog, and his owner confidently told us he is: Good with other dogs big and small, and very playful. Uninterested in cats. Great with kids, and has been around ages 1-12 years old. Up to date on vaccines. Good for baths, especially if there is peanut butter involved. Housebroken and crate trained. He is a little anxious about being here, so he has been a little fussy with us. A cuddler, which we have already seen. He loves to be in your lap. The one "con" of Murphy? He is a marker! BUT, with time and obviously getting him neutered, that should subside. If you would like to give Murphy a home, send us a message or give us a call at (540) 921-2053.

Do not forget to bring your pets inside when it is too cold outside. IF IT IS TOO COLD FOR YOU, IT IS TOO COLD FOR THEM! The law says: During cold weather, a dog shelter must have a windbreak at its entrance and have bedding material that is sufficient to protect the animal from cold and promote the retention of body heat.
