Our long lost wild fugitive from Stockpen Mountain Rd in Narrows was finally caught by some locals and is now at the shelter. She is a wild (absolutely livid about being caught) female mix.

Adoption fees: Male dog is $110, Female dog is $120, Male cat is $90, Female cat is $105, cash or check - includes spay/neuter, basic vaccines and microchip.

Virginia law says that we have to keep a dog for 5 days so that the owner can claim it before we can put the dog up for adoption. If you are interested in a particular dog before its available date please contact us. We would like a dog to go to a new home or rescue as soon as possible after its "available" date.

• Adoption of dogs is open to residents of Bland, Pulaski, Montgomery, Craig and Giles County areas of Virginia.
• Dogs that have been spayed/neutered are available for adoption to any location including out of state residents.

We will not ‘hold’ or ‘reserve’ a dog by phone or e-mail or Facebook message. Make sure that you are able to take your dog home on the day you adopt it. We will not keep a dog for you after its ‘available’ day.
